The “Mustafa Siridi” garden is located in the centre of the city of Guelma. It was originally created as a botanical garden at the end of the 19th century. Its surface area is 900 square metres and includes 300 species of plants. Then it became an archaeological museum in shaded alleys, which include various antiquities collected from archaeological sites in the region, collected during excavations in the early 20th century (1904). Currently, only a row of columns and the Temple of Jupiter remain in the garden, which contained a huge bust of Jupiter on a golden mosaic background, after other archaeological artefacts were transferred to the Archaeological Park of Calama.
The garden has regained its beauty and charm after the restoration process, where a variety of trees, flowers and roses have been planted, as well as ancient trees. It is a microcosm of the “El-Hamma” garden in the capital.
