Moustapha Seraidi park

The “Mustafa Sridi” garden is located in the center of the city of Guelma. It was originally established as a botanical garden at the end of the 19th century. Its area is 900 square meters and includes 300 species of plants. Then it became in an archaeological museum in shaded corridors, which includes various antiquities collected from archaeological sites. In the area, during excavations at the beginning of the 20th century (1904).

Currently, only a row of columns and the Temple of Jupiter remain in the garden, which contained a huge bust of Jupiter against a backdrop of golden mosaics, after other archaeological artifacts were moved to Calama Archaeological Park.

The garden regained its beauty and charm after the preparation process, where a variety of trees, flowers and roses were planted, as well as ancient trees. It is a microcosm of the “El-Hamma” garden of the capital.
